At Daisy Roots we specialise in growing choice & unusual hardy perennial plants.

 Our plant list gets larger every year but only ever includes good, garden worthy plants that we would give space to in our own garden. Indeed, the nursery is surrounded by deep borders where you can see many of the plants we sell thriving and showing just how good they could look in your garden. 

The nursery is on the outskirts of Hertford, easily accessed from North London by either the A10 or the A1. We are open every Friday & Saturday from 10am-4pm from the beginning of March until the end of October, or by appointment.

We exhibit & sell plants at a number of plant fairs & shows throughout the year. Take a look at our show diary to find out when & where. We also sell at a number of farmers markets every month and are happy to take plant orders to these events for collection.Please phone or email your requirements through at least 2 days before the event.

 We offer a mail order service from mid October until the end of March, when plants are not in full growth, and therefore easier to post. To help you get the very best from your plants, we hold a range of talks & workshops throughout the year. These take place at the nursery on Saturday mornings and are intended to inform & inspire. 

Regular customers to the nursery can apply for one of our loyalty cards. This entitles them to 10% discount on all plants purchased at the nursery & also discount on our talks & workshops & invites to special events at the nursery. Regular newsletters will keep you informed about what is coming up. To obtain a loyalty card, simply send us your name & address by post or by email.
