Species member of pink family with compact clumps of evergreen basal foliage from which jointed stems arise to 30-40cm topped by tight clusters of single crimson red flowers. Followed by nice seed heads.
Likes sun on well drained soil and tolerates drought once established. Associates very well with grasses
